Plans to slash federal funding of climate change programs have already been set in motion. As White House Budget Director Mick Mulvaney so plainly put it, they're "just not spending money on that anymore."

Environmental Defense Fund

Guided by the mission "to preserve the natural systems on which all life depends," the EDF works to improve all aspects of the biosphere. Their activism even led corporate giants like McDonalds and FedEx to reevaluate their companies' environmental footprints.

Sierra Club is the largest grassroots environmental organization in the country. The established program has a membership of over 2 million supporters whose concerted effort has helped to pass groundbreaking legislation, like the Clean Air, Clean Water, and Endangered Species acts.
