ACTOR SHIA LABEOUF TAKES HIS TURN BEHIND THE SCENES, TO PRODUCE A NEW DOCUMENTARY ON TRUE LOVE

In a new documentary, LoveTrue, director Alma Har’el and executive producer Shia LaBeouf explore the complicated (and often times dysfunctional) relationships of real-life couples. The trailer above offers a first look at the intimate film, which sees its world premiere on April 15, as part of the TriBeCa Film Festival. In a statement, LaBeouf describes Har’el process: She makes you feel safe, learns of your life, shares hers with you. She encourages spontaneous creativity and holds your hand as you address your personal problems. Then she guides you as you externalize your real-life situations or fantasies, dreams, inner mental processes creatively. She really gives a shit about people.”

The trailer’s soundtrack is an original production by Flying Lotus.
