Last night, renowned pop sensation Adele premiered the music video for her latest single, "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" during the 2016 Billboard Music Awards (where, in a crowd that included Madonna, Rihanna, and more, the "Hello" singer was noticeably absent). The clip marks the third music video from the 28 year-old's most recent album—last year's 25, for which she is still touring—and reflects a similarly paired down aesthetic to the previous two.

The video, directed by Patrick Daughters, features Adele looking appropriately sophisticated and mature in a beautiful head-to-toe floral gown, set against a stark black backdrop. As she sings, her figure begins to multiply in various overlapping hues. It's not particularly groundbreaking as far as music videos go, but then again, it doesn't have to be; when you have Adele's powerhouse vocals and songwriting prowess, everything else is merely backdrop.

Watch the clip for yourself below.
