Headed by creative director, Sarah Burton, Alexander McQueen is widely known for inducing a sense of heightened drama into every collection and the latest fall 2017 campaign is no different. For AW 2017, the British-brand traveled to an awe-inducing Icelandic beach where photographer, Jamie Harksworth, battled the chill to capture the dramatic landscape, while model—Rianne van Rompaey—captured the essence of the collection inspired by Cornwall and paganism.

Amidst the rocky shores and scenic backdrop, the campaign reveals a series of stark contrasts that remained as reoccurring theme in the collection and is evident in the campaign. A sense of romanticism was captured and beautifully marries the black-and-white photos, along with the color images that portray the beauty of Iceland.
