Last night, an impressive roster of artists—most with tracks in the top 10 of Billboard's Hot 100—hit the stage at the American Music Awards. One Direction member Niall Horan made his solo debut before The Weeknd made his first public performance of a track from his new album, Starboy. Former chart-toppers The Chainsmokers and Halsey, naturally, played their hit "Closer," but the new reigning champions, Rae Sremmurd, with their viral hit "Black Beatles," were sadly not in attendance.
