Last week, a bomber executed the largest terrorist attack in the U.K. in twelve years when he detonated a homemade explosive at Ariana Grande's Manchester Arena show. The bombing proved fatal for 22 attendees, and injured 59 others. After a barrage of reactions from celebrities, including Grande herself, reports began to pop up of Grande offering to pay for the funerals of the victims. Although this report was later debunked, the star is taking steps to react against the attack and bring aid to the families.

Grande announced the One Love Manchester Benefit Concert via her Twitter on May 26, in her first lengthy statement since the attack. She maintained a stance of uplifting her fans: "We will not quit or operate in fear." Since announcing the benefit, she has also announced a suspension of her Dangerous Woman Tour in an official statement released via Instagram.

The concert, planned for June 4th at Emirates Old Trafford, will feature Justin Bieber, Pharell Williams, Usher, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Niall Horran, Take That, and Miley Cyrus. Tickets go on sale June 1st, with net ticket proceeds going to The British Red Cross Society.
