There are certain pairings in life that are just reliably great: cookies and milk, Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn. Now, we can officially add Cashmere Cat and Ariana Grande to the list. The dynamic duo just released their third collaboration, “Quit,” off of the producer’s debut album 9, due out tomorrow, April 28. And to the shock of nobody, it’s an absolute stunner.

Cashmere’s soft synths and tropical elements, including a beautiful pan flute this time around, mesh perfectly with Ariana’s soaring vocals, this time with a bit more yearning and beautiful desperation. “I can’t quit you,” she belts over the dramatic show-stopping chorus, followed by a surprisingly fitting island-flavored drop. The song was also co-written with Sia, and it shows: the melodies are incredibly memorable, and the lyrics are more vivid than ever before.

Although their previous efforts “Be My Baby” and “Adore” are undeniably beautiful tracks, the theatrics and melodies of “Quit” may just make it Cashmere and Ariana’s most accomplished collaboration yet. Listen now, and watch the producer debut the song live at a show in Pittsburgh earlier this week.
