Today, emerging pop star Betsy released her new single, “Wanted More,” accompanied with a vibrant and emotional music video to boot. The song plays sonically as the sister to her sensational breakout hit, “Lost & Found,” with a soaring chorus, pounding drums, and beautiful strings in the instrumentation. Her soothing deep voice is as effective and chilling as ever, with every element making for a winning combo that could and should become Betsy’s signature.

The new single tells the story of a woman needing more in her relationship than her counterpart can give her, a tale inspired by one of Betsy’s real-life romances, and its video gives the story a glamorous and at times humorous twist.

“‘Wanted More’ tells the story of my relationship with a devilishly handsome but deviously untrustworthy model,” Betsy said about the single. “His role in the video is inspired by some incredible images of wrestlers going about their day to day lives by Lourdes Grobet. Unbeknown to me this forever distant man turned out to be married. Eventually I decided to say enough is enough and walk away!”

The video sees Betsy and her shiny platinum blonde locks go through the trials and tribulations of her relationship decked out in fabulous pastel outfits, with her male love interest played by a bulky wrestler. She glams up a trailer park with vintage '60s decor, stomps through pillow feathers, and struts out her RV as fabulously as one can leave a trailer park, chicken in tow. Yes, a chicken. No, we don't know its name. Watch below.

UPDATE: The chicken has been named!
