Beyoncé’s album Lemonade has officially gone platinum, a highly-coveted certification from the RIAA, announced in a tweet on Wednesday. The visual album—which details her alleged marital troubles with Jay-Z, and broke the Internet after she surprise dropped it to the world—sold 653,000 album units in the first week alone, making it No.1 on the Billboard 200 in April. This means that Lemonade hit the one-million mark less than two months after the album’s April 23 release. It is the singer's sixth album to go platinum.

It's a remarkable feat, considering the album was originally released as a Tidal exclusive, but later debuted on iTunes, Amazon and her website, with some tracks are available for streaming on Spotify. It is only the second album, after Drake's Views, to go platinum so far in 2016.

Queen B is currently on her Formation World Tour. Click here for tour dates to see the singer in a city near you.
