Although he hasn't released an LP since 2014's Motions, Scottish DJ and songwriter Calvin Harris has found a wealth of success in releasing singles—keeping busy working with artists like Rihanna, John Newman, Rita Ora, Ellie Goulding, and most recently, Frank Ocean and Migos for last month's hit "Slide." And now, Harris has returned with another single and collaboration with Young Thug, Pharrell Williams, and Ariana Grande titled "Heatstroke."

We didn't know when we would hear from Harris again, especially since a fan asked him on Twitter back in January if he would have any new upcoming tracks this year. "10," was Harris's simple and sort of cryptic response (maybe 10 doesn't refer to a number but an album title?), but "Heatstroke" is the seasonal transition song we all needed as we get closer to summer.

Lyrically "Heatstroke" seems to be all about having a good time, the uptempo pop beat and pseudo island drums reflecting this as well. With three powerhouse artists on one track, it's easy for a song to get overwhelming or sounds to get lost. But Young Thug, Williams, and Grande all compliment each other and the instrumentation of the track well, keeping the song's vibe of summer paradise as opposed to summer disaster. The 33-year-old artist couldn't find a better trio to work with—the YouTube preview of the track is littered with comments on who the best (and weakest) contributor is.

With "Slide" and "Heatstroke" out, we have allegedly have eight more Harris tracks to look forward to this year. Listen to "Heatstroke" below.
