The Council of Fashion Designers of America revealed the nominees for its 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards last night, with chairwoman Diane von Furstenburg doing the honors at a reception at Rascale Studios. Notable nominees this year include Raf Simons, who racked up two nominations after stunning with his first collection as new creative director of Calvin Klein, and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who also snagged two nominations for their line The Row.

Rick Owens will deservingly receive the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award, while Gloria Steinem, Cecile Richards, and Janelle Monáe are being honored by the Board of Directors for their great work in women’s rights movements.
