Chloë Sevigny Is Cannes’ Resident Cool Girl
The Hollywood favorite and New York cool girl steals the show at Cannes.
Arriving in Nice earlier this week Chloë Sevigny effortless airport style is already one of the standout fashion moments from Cannes, and it was only a sign of things to come from the actress.
Sevigny is in town to promote her new horror movie “The Dead Don’t Die”, in which she plays a local cop in the zombie flick alongside Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Selena Gomez and Adam Driver. The film premiered at Cannes and opened the 72nd edition of the film festival, receiving positive reviews.
Sevigny was first pictured fresh off the plane wearing a striped short summer dress, relaxed blue blazer, straw hat and a white Chanel purse.
For the premiere of “The Dead Don’t Die”, Sevigny wore a custom Mugler gown cut from black and pink satin. For press interviews, Sevigny gave us a unique take on suiting wearing a pinstripe suit jacket with matching tight shorts. The outfit was complete with black shoes and purse worn with easy hair and makeup.
Other press looks included a laced blouse and skirt in white worn with a long jacket by Loewe.
Sevigny has also directed a 15-minute short movie entitled ‘White Echo’, which will compete for the short film Palme d’Or (one of Cannes’ most prestigious prizes).
