It has been a steady climb to the top for Heloise Letissier, better known as Christine and the Queens, but her growing popularity in the United States hasn't gone unnoticed. Following a recent cover of Time magazine, and a headlining show at New York City’s Terminal 5, the singer stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. As the musical guest, Letissier performed her track “Tilted,” off her debut album Chaleur Humaine, which is self-titled in the United States.

With her four backup dancers in tow, Letissier breaks into her familiar choreography that has only ripened with repetition. There’s no denying her comfort on a stage, in front of a nationwide crowd. Forgoing her signature suiting, Letissier seems to have moved into a new phase of confidence. Hopefully, her current statewide headlining tour will foster that growth, and, more importantly, land her a seat on Jimmy's couch; her personality extends well beyond her stage show.
