After teasing fans with a short video of their latest musical project, Scottish synth-pop band Chvrches have shared a new video of a reworked live version of their 2015 track "Down Side of Me," directed by none other than the V106 cover star Kristen Stewart.

The new version of the song is being released as a single for 7-inches of Planned Parenthood, a series of new 7" vinyl and digital singles by various musical artists and comedians in support of Planned Parenthood during this frightening time where millions of people could easily lose access to crucial health services.

In a press release, Chvrches singer Lauren Mayberry said, “We should all be able to have faith that our governments are working in our best interests—and if they aren’t, then they should be challenged and held to account. ‘I’ll believe that you’re all that you said you would be,’” Mayberry said, quoting lyrics from the song that parallel the goal of the project.

The video also marks the second time Stewart has worked behind the camera as a director in 2017. Stewart's short film Come Swim premiered this January at Sundance, and something we can perhaps expect to become a feature film one day.
