The first trailer for Woody Allen’s Miley Cyrus-starring Crisis in Six Scenes is here, and it already promises to be hilarious.

Allen, on top of directing the series, also stars in Amazon’s latest foray into original content. The studio's comedy/drama Transparent has both Emmys and Golden Globes to its name, proving that a new model of television is both financially and critically successful. (We're also excited for Good Girls Revolt.)

In the trailer, Cyrus plays foil to Allen’s stuck-in-his-ways character. The singer’s role is that of a weed-smoking hippie (naturally) that stands in complete contrast to her geriatric counterpart. Naturally, ideals collide, but change is in the air for Allen. A scene of elderly women discussing how they’ll protest—burning bras, quarts of pigs blood, etc—is easily the funniest part of the 2-minute video.

While the storyline of a young girl bringing renewed happiness to a group of stagnant people is nothing new, the humor seems fresh. Don’t expect to find those stale zingers that get crammed into 30 minutes of primetime.

A Crisis in Six Scenes debuts on September 30.
