The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum hosts artwork from all over the world, which is why it’s no surprise that the pre-party for the 2015 Guggenheim International Gala was made possible with some help from the French, and featured a musical performance from a Canadian.

For the third time in a row, Dior presented the gala in New York this week, attracting artists, designers, royalty, and more, many of whom were dressed in Dior and Dior Homme. Despite his scheduled departure from the fashion house, Raf Simons represented Dior with Sidney Toledano as honorary chairs for the event.

Vancouver native and V favorite Grimes brought her multifaceted talents to the pre-party, just before tomorrow’s release of her album, Art Angels. The festivities continue tonight with a benefit dinner honoring international artists and contributors to the Guggenheim's collections: On Kawara (in memoriam), Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian, and Doris Salcedo. No doubt, it will be a night to remember.
