A powerhouse ballad from the Los Angeles-based rock band

Dorothy has just released their latest track, “Shelter,” off of their forthcoming debut album ROCKISDEAD, premiering exclusively with V. The band’s front runner, Dorothy Martin, might look like she belongs in a punk band, but don't let her bad girl looks fool you; Martin's got the voice of an angel and the pipes to match, as evidenced by the soulful new single.

In addition to being signed to Jay Z's label, Roc Nation, the band's supporters include Ruby Rose, Miguel, and Tom Morello, so there's little doubt that the Los Angeles-based rock group will go far. ROCKISDEAD won't be out until June 24th, but in the mean time, you can listen to "Shelter" below.
