In August of 2015, British-Albanian pop sensation Dua Lipa crept onto the scene with her first song, "Be The One." It wasn't initially intended as a proper single, but the reception was so overwhelmingly strong that it basically became one overnight in Europe. A few months later, in October of last year, Lipa released an early video for the track. For an indication of how the 21-year-old's career has blown up in the time since that release, just check the video's views on YouTube (it's now up to over 87 million).

Following successful subsequent singles "Hotter Than Hell" and "Blow Your Mind (Mwah)," today, Lipa shares a new video for the track that began her career. Co-starring actor and fellow musician Ansel Elgort as Lipa's apparent love interest, the new clip begins with a heated argument in a hazy, neon-lit motel room. The tragic love affair quickly turns sci-fi tryst as Lipa escapes Elgort with a little help from above in the form of a casual 2017 Lexus IS covered in 41,999 programmable LED lights (in case you needed further proof that this girl's future is lit).

"I'm so excited to have had the opportunity to release a new video for 'Be The One,'" the singer tells V. "It gave me a chance to showcase the song in a different light. I was also lucky to have Ansel Elgort in the video. It was so inspiring to watch him work."

Watch the clip below, and stay tuned for more from Dua Lipa, whose debut album drops February 10.
