Fendi has always been known for its extravagant and, for lack of better words, fabulous and luxurious designs. Of course, it comes as no surprise that at the Milan Fashion Week show Thursday, the Karl Lagerfeld-helmed house delivered once more on the beloved double-F-decorated runway.

The Fall 2017 collection was sophisticated, yet youthful, with a hint of playfulness; Each model came down the catwalk with patent-red sky-high boots. Not only did it help in unifying the models, it gave a pop of color and definite wow to some of the darker tones and looks featured in the show. For Fall 2017, Lagerfeld is clearly seeing red.

Familiar faces like V Magazine's latest cover star Kendall Jenner, sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid, Imaan Hammam, Yasmin Wijnaldum, and Stella Maxwell graced the runway. It's clear that, despite his commitment to tradition, Lagerfeld is happily embracing l'esprit du temps.
