The show must go on, and Fifth Harmony wasted no time in doing so. Pop’s favorite girl group gave their debut performance as a foursome at the People’s Choice Awards last night, only a month after Camila Cabello’s departure from the group. And they want to make one thing clear: the girls are going to be just fine.

Lauren, Normani, Ally, and Dinah Jane kicked off their performance of “Work From Home” by changing the first two lines into a clever declaration: “We ain’t worried about nothing/ We ain’t worried about nada.” It was a much-needed reassurance for fans, and almost certainly a message to Camila, affirming that they will be successful without her ad-libs.

From then on, the girls went back to business, proceeding to strut, dance, and belt more fierce and powerful than ever before. The group also went the extra mile and displayed their names on the screen behind them, indicating their goal to establish individual identities while remaining loyal to the group (further shade?).

Fifth Harmony are currently working on their third album, due later this year. Camila’s debut solo venture has been in the works for the past year, with a single reportedly expected this Spring.
