Indie pop artist morgxn has released the video for his new single, "love you with the lights on."

Inspired by his Vaudeville singer grandfather, morgxn began singing and writing songs at a very early age. The Nashville born artist later embarked on his own musical career, making quite an impression upon releasing his debut single. Premiered by Beats 1’s Zane Lowe, the track accumulated much buzz since its release racking up almost 300,000 plays on Soundcloud, not to mention being hyped on music blogs. Morgxn's lyrics are not only authentic, but also passionate and complex.

The video, directed by Matt DeLisi and concept by MOSES + JP, is inspired by a Robert Mapplethorpe photo, according to morgxn. Filmed in black and white, morgxn sings along to his hypnotic tune while completely mummified. The unique approach is meant to communicate a message about beauty standards, the feeling of disconnection, and the idea of self-discovery.
