After twigs announced a mysterious open cast call on her social media in August seeking performers in “all genres,” the “major London-based project” has finally been revealed. In late October, the British artist is set to curate the “ultimate Halloween experience:” the second annual Veuve Clicquot Widow Series. The event, an “annual celebration of creative and cultural prowess,” is a tribute to the legendary Madame Clicquot, who, following her husband’s death, went on to make Veuve Clicquot one of the most renowned champagne producers in the world.

Last year’s event, curated by fashion photographer Nick Knight, featured Gareth Pugh-cad clowns and Edgar Allen Poe readings as the audience made their way through dimly lit rooms.

This year, the exhibition will be titled Rooms. The music icon known for her theatricality promises an “immersive and tactile evening” during which the audience will embark on a journey of self-discovery through “multiple mediums.” Sounds like a nice spin on New York City's famous Sleep No More.

Twigs called this her “most ambitious project to date,” which considering her track record, is quite the statement. We cannot wait.

The exhibition will be held in London on October 27 and 28. More information will be available here.
