Last night, Chanel celebrated the launch its latest fragrance, Gabrielle Chanel, with a Parisian soiree that included an impromptu duet between Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams, just hours after the Fall couture show.

Chanel darling Kristen Stewart, the face of the new fragrance, was clad in a sparkling black number, providing a contrast to her peroxide blonde hair. Other attendees included longtime Chanel muse Caroline de Maigret, model Stella Maxwell, and icon Daphne Guinness in her usual bespoke platforms.

It's the house's first fragrance pillar launch in 15 years: focusing on the woman behind the brand, the party included walls of mirrors and a maze with Chanel's quotes. The fragrance itself is a mixture of ylang-ylang, orange blossom, jasmine and grasse tuberose, encased in box with a gold-lined interior, a nod to her saying that "luxury is what you don't see."

Gabrielle Chanel will be released on September 1. See photos from the event in the slideshow below.
