As many designers and fashion influencers alike continue to embrace every day life as a source of inspiration, it comes to no surprise that advertisements would follow suit. In a new campaign for Fall 2016, Givenchy uses the concept of reality and authenticity as a primary focus. While many of the models—among them, Bella Hadid—featured in the advertisement are still doing their signature pouts, there is an organic atmosphere that can be recognized almost immediately.

Creative director Riccardo Tisci stated in an interview: "This campaign shows that I'm keeping my eyes fixed on what's happening out there in reality." His intentions are clear when one makes note of the specific locations in New York that were used—a Brooklyn yoga studio and an office building near Fifth Avenue being two of them. Tisci went on to discuss the current message behind his brand by saying, "The message is about my community and how to make a dream become a reality.”
