New York City’s own annual music festival, Governors Ball, has just announced its lineup for 2017, following yesterday’s Coachella lineup announcement. Though geographically there is no competition, they do say second is the best.

The roster is light on A-Listers (read: no Beyoncé), but there are plenty of well-known acts to buzz about: Chance the Rapper, Phoenix, Lorde, Wiz Khalifa, Rae Sremmurd, Mac Demarco, Charli XCX, Tove Lo, and more.

What the festival lacks in heavy hitters it more than makes up for with up-and-coming acts from around the world. For starters, L.A.-based trio MUNA who sound like a cross between Stevie Nicks and HAIM, but dress like Nirvana. Rising British pop star Dua Lipa is also set to perform after her headlining European tour and an opening act stint for Troye Sivan. By summer, both MUNA and Lipa will be touring their debut albums. Another Sivan collaborator, Australia’s Tkay Maidza, will bring her personal rap style the East Coast, too. Irish producer Eden should please both the electronic and rock crowds, though it will be interesting how he transitions his dark moody aesthetic into the daylight.

There are two standout billings: Zane Lowe and Mark Ronson vs. Kevin Parker. Lowe is a popular radio host for Beats 1 and is well known for championing young talent. Will he be performing a DJ set, or bringing out a crew of his favorite artists? Ronson and Parker battling it out is an exciting prospect considering they recently worked together on Lady Gaga’s Joanne. Fingers crossed that Gaga makes an appearance herself.
