Gwen Stefani does her best attempt at suffering, while looking more than beautiful in her newly released music video for “Misery” off her latest album, This is What the Truth Feels Like.

The video is an intimate one, with close shots of Stefani dressed in a range of dramatic hair styles and makeup looks—from a bold black bob to eccentric hair pieces to a blonde curly ‘do paired with filled-in brows. Dressed to the nines, this might be the closest to daring fashion Gwen we've seen in years. No, no bindis and chokers, or Harajuku girls, but plenty of eye catching dresses.

While Stefani certainly steals the spotlight in “Misery,” you won’t be able to keep your eyes off the accompanying three dancers, with their Old Hollywood look and groovy moves. What they have to do with the video is anyone's guess, but it works.

This is What The Truth Feels Like is the No Doubt singer’s third solo album and her first to score Number 1 on Billboard’s 200 Chart.
