Now that his solo career is finally up and running, Harry Styles is wasting no time getting his music out. The One Direction alum-turned-solo rocker officially announced his debut album this morning, confirming all the details we needed to know. The album will be released on May 12 and is self-titled.

Harry also unveiled the album art, a portrait of him washing his face in rose-hued water, giving the cover a millennial touch (pink is, apparently, this generation's color). There’s something to be said about the themes of cleansing and water present in his era’s visuals, a possible notion to washing away his boy band past, and the fact that he has his back turned to us on the cover. The album may be self-titled, setting up an expectation for us to hear his most authentic self, but there’s a hesitancy in revealing himself completely.

The artist also revealed the album’s tracklist, which is kept at a lean and pristine ten tracks. But considering his debut single “Sign of the Times” clocks in at nearly six minutes, expect this record to be a long-form listen. With his first solo performance on Saturday Night Live happening this weekend, expect one more of these tracks to be released in the next couple days, but for now, view the tracklist below.
