H&M is on a roll this season: continuing its streak of on-point collaborations—just check out the Kenzo look book—the mega retailer is teaming up with New York artist Alex Katz on a limited edition series of works. Known for his minimal figurative portraits, the artist's series will explore men's and women's fashion, and home decor.

“The partnership with H&M surpassed my expectations," said Katz. "It is exciting for me to work with H&M to make my art more accessible to more people." The collection will drop online and in H&M locations around the world on December 1, roughly one month after the brand's Kenzo line debuts.

Given the success of its high end designer collaborations, the new collection with Katz may indicate more collaborations across genres for H&M. Stay tuned for more details.
