Rising artists Steven Mudd and Denny White have teamed up to become Golden Coast, a Los Angeles based indie-pop band. Today, the duos newest single “Recess” premieres exclusively on V.

"Recess" comes as Mudd and White's first track off their debut EP coming this fall. This nostalgic tune is the perfect song to close out the summer with. It’s danceable beat and uplifting tone make the track undeniably catchy, with the perfect amount of camp.

Their new single is produced by platinum-selling songwriter/producer Dan Book, previously a producer for Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, and The Knocks. On working with Book, Mudd says, "Denny and I met Dan through [singer] Matthew Koma. Matthew loved our stuff and thought Dan would be perfect for us to collaborate with. And he was! Dan's a very talented producer and even better guy. He and I might be the only two writer/ producers in LA who LOVE baseball, so that's just really something special, too."

From the quote alone, it's clear that Golden Coast have a good sense of humor about them, which inevitably bleeds into "Recess." Find out just how much below.
