Gucci has announced the release of their newest limited-edition book, a collection of images shot by British photographer Nick Waplington and published by Assouline that documents Alessandro Michele’s Gucci Cruise 2017 collection.

Waplington, known for his unfiltered portraiture of Britain’s domestic class, youth culture, and marginalized people, previously collaborated with Alexander McQueen for Working Process in 2013. For Gucci, he captures behind-the-scenes moments in the lead-up to and after the highly lauded show at London’s Westminster Abbey this past June.

As a celebration of a collection strongly influenced by England’s cultural heritage, Blind For Love features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth I on the front cover and guilded pages to accompany the lyrics of the English ballad, "Scarborough Fair," which was played at the fashion show and runs as a refrain throughout the book.

The publication of Blind For Love will be limited to 1,000 copies, available at Assouline boutiques and Assouline.com as of December 1, as well as specialty stores like Dover Street Market’s London, New York, and Tokyo locations, Colette in Paris, and the Palais de Tokyo’s bookstore.

Assouline’s London and New York stores will host book signing events with Nick Waplington on December 4 and 8, respectively.
