Back in July, we got our first look at H&M's newest designer collaboration with KENZO, and it did not disappoint. Today, the forthcoming collection received another round of exciting news: its campaign will be photographed by none other than legendary image-maker, and V contributor, Jean-Paul Goude.

Known for his iconic fashion pictures for Grace Jones, and French luxury brands including KENZO, Chanel and that Citroen Cx 2 car commercial, it makes sense that Goude would shoot the series for the highly-anticipated collaboration. The campaign will star Iman, Chloë Sevigny, Rosario Dawson, Chance The Rapper, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Suboi and Xiuhtezcatl Martinez.

"It’s the very first time that I have been asked to work in a style that has more to do with my own personal neuroses than finding advertising solutions and I love it," says Goude. "For me, nobody is never too tall or too well built… Let me explain: just like a fashion illustrator who elongates a silhouette as he draws it, I cut up photographs, or more exactly, I cut up transparencies: a bit of a basic if not brutal exercise −depending on what direction I wish to take an image in."

As another preview of the campaign, Goude has provided animations of the subjects, which illustrate the elaborate conceptual process through which he arrives at his images. "When I was told about the idea of adapting that particular style to the Kenzo x H&M world, I had no hesitation and I felt that it was a great way of showing both the spirit of the collection and the profusion of Kenzo’s beautiful prints."

Check out the animations below, and stay tuned for more from the collection which will debut at a fashion show this fall, and hit stores worldwide and online November 3.
