It has just been announced that Kanye West will show his Yeezy Season 4 collection on the afternoon of September 7, the first day of New York Fashion Week.

It will be West's first collection since the rapper and designer announced that his partnership with adidas would be expanding back in June (you may recall the sportswear brand calling it "the most significant partnership ever created between a non-athlete and an athletic brand"). According to a report on WWD, the precise time and location are yet to be announced.

Last February, West's Yeezy Season 3 show at Madison Square Garden was the talk of Fashion Week, and saw the Kardashian Klan in full force. It also set the stage for the debut of the rapper's critically-acclaimed album, The Life of Pablo. Weeks later, Anna Wintour jokingly confessed to having a a full-scale mental breakdown after getting lost in the arena. Given the rapper's numerous controversies since, we can only imagine that the Season 4 show will be even more bananas.

With any luck, we'll be getting another taste of his forthcoming album, Cruel Winteras well (he's debuted new music at his past three Yeezy shows). And if you don't have access to the show, don't fret: the spectacle is likely to be streamed on Tidal as well.
