Yesterday, Kendall Jenner shut down Mercer Street—more specifically, her legion of fans and perhaps a few curious bystanders brought the traffic to a gawking halt.

The model took over the V offices to meet fans and sign copies of her recent V105 cover, photographed by Mario Testino and styled by Paul Cavaco. The cover sees Kendall with a thigh-covering snake tattoo (don’t worry, it’s temporary) designed by Jenai Chin. The artist then turned the model and snake into a purchasable temporary tattoo. Each fellow V105 cover star—including Joan Smalls, Carolyn Murphy, Lara Stone, Amber Valletta, and Ellen Rosa—got matching custom temporary tattoos, too.

Model and furniture designer Brian Shimansky, of Shimansky Design, even made a custom V table in collaboration with ENDGRAIN Furniture just for the event. To further commemorate the event, limited edition hoodies were created and designed by Danielle Guizio, featuring a wrapping snake and a tattoo-inspired V logo—in homage to the cover story, of course. You can shop the hoodie online here.

Elsewhere, separate from the crowd, VIP guests including Tyler the Creator, Ashton Sanders, Levi Dylan, Cardi B, Dove Cameron, and more, all co-mingled and sipped on cocktails from Casa Dragones and Svedka, as well as champagne from Perrier-Jouet.

After everyone had a drink in hand, burgeoning pop rocker LP (personally requested by Kendall) sang stripped down versions of her tracks "Into The Wild” and “Lost on You.” LP was fresh off a flight from Europe where she’s currently touring her latest record, Death Valley. The performance and glittering disco ball were just enough to transform the workroom-by-day space into an intimate venue of laid-back fun.
