Kesha is officially back and better than ever; this time with a new hit inspired by the bigotry displayed in this year's past election. The empowering, feminist anthem "Woman" follows the release of "Praying," both off Kesha's forthcoming third album “Rainbow.” Kesha told Metro.co.uk that she "wrote this enraged about Donald Trump’s pussy grabbing comment."

The song also features legendary American funk and soul band The Dap-Kings whose horn section coincides flawlessly with Kesha's powerful vocals. Along with the release of the girl-power hit itself, Kesha has also released the music video as well as a poignant essay about her processes of crafting "Woman." While the video depicts a fun, wild girls night out, her personal essay delves more into her conceptual decisions from her self directed new video and her experience working with The Dap- Kings. Kesha told Rolling Stone "I just really love being a woman and I wanted an anthem for anyone else who wants to yell about being self-sufficient and strong."

muThe politically inspired track is only making us more anxious to hear all of Kesha's new work! Rainbow is available August 11 and in the meantime, check out the video for "Woman" below!
