How long have you lived in LA?

CLEC One and a half sweet years.

What neighborhood do you live in?

CLEC West Hollywood.

Which song best defines LA to you?

CLEC "Just Wait Til Next Year" by John Maus. Hands down my favorite song of all time and has been since I moved here. Really reminds me of my first beautiful and sower experiences here. On a more literal level, "Flower Punk" by Frank Zappa because it's about all the posers trying to be in psychedelic bands, but really it's just a bell-bottoms fashion statement. That's so L.A. to me.

Name something you recently discovered about L.A.

CLEC Everyone's favorite thing to do is sue everyone.

What was the last great meal you had in L.A.?

CLEC Foo Chow in Chinatown. I almost end my life on the spot every time, out of pure bliss.

Most underrated neighborhood?

CLEC Echo Park. Just kidding.

When were you most star struck?

CLEC I haven't been that starstruck in Los Angeles but when I was 11 I saw Matthew Perry in Ventura. I cried and feverishly wrote him this sick letter where I told him how in love with him I was. I think I backed out of giving it to him last minute.

Favorite clothing store?

CLEC I need to explore that more I guess because I could only come up with "the glasses at 7/11." I really only go on the internet for that.

Favorite bar?

CLEC Hop Louie in Chinatown. Greatest bar. They have this swanky dance floor and Juke Box with my favorite synth pop hits and it's right next to Foo Chow! Everything you need in the immediate area.

What is your preferred mode of transportation?

CLEC I find grand pleasure in driving, but it's nice to sit back and be the DJ and let your friend pick you up.  I guess my favorite transportation is sober friends' vehicles.

What's your dream car?

CLEC Easy. It's the Toyota Avalon.

How long have you lived in LA?

CV Eight years in West Hollywood. and I never understood why I didn't love L.A. until I moved 5 months ago to Los Feliz, alone. I had never in my entire life lived alone until now. Now I love L.A.

Which song best defines LA to you?

CV Chris Brown's "Yo (Excuse Me Miss)" because when I first moved to L.A., I was driving my grandfather's old car with no stereo and that breezy album was all I brought with me from home. I played it in a disc man connected to a mini portable speaker that I brought with me everywhere.

Name something you recently discovered about L.A.

CV The homemade pasta at La Pergoletta and the fact that I never want to leave the East Side.

What was the last great meal you had in L.A.?

CV The garlic bread from Miceli's, and the handkerchief pasta with pesto from Blair's.

When were you most star struck?

CV Meeting George Condo.

Favorite clothing store?

CV I don't have one. I like to get pieces that speak to me and I'm blessed that I get to travel, hand pick, and curate my wardrobe.

Favorite bar?

CV Good Luck Bar.

What is your preferred mode of transportation?

CV Laying down flat in the back of an Uber.

What's your dream car?

CV I don't care that much about cars. But it's hot when the person I'm dating drives a pickup truck.

How long have you lived in L.A.?

NL I moved to L.A. four and a half years ago and I've been living in Orange County for a little over a year now.

What neighborhood do you live in?

NL I lived in Hollywood, but I was just a few blocks from Los Feliz. I would have liked to be in Los Feliz because it's a little more quiet and mellow, but my boyfriend and I decided O.C. was a better fit for us.

Which song best defines LA to you?

NL  "Smiling Faces Sometimes" by The Undisputed Truth

Name something you recently discovered about L.A.

NL The Velveteria museum in Chinatown is a must-see! If I had the opportunity, I would move into that place tomorrow

What was the last great meal you had in L.A.?

NL My mom and I went to Cafe Gratitude a few weeks ago and we really loved it! The Caesar salad was perfect... Although, I ordered a piece of tiramisu to go and by the time I got it home it had turned into a velvety soup, so next time I'll definitely be eating dessert first and dinner after! (Which is preferred anyways, right?)

Most underrated neighborhood?

NL I don't really leave my house much, so to be completely honest I have no idea!

When were you most star struck?

NL I was getting some groceries one time and while I was picking out tortillas, I looked next to me and realized Sandy Martin was standing next to me and I froze. I deeply regret not telling her that I love her, but I didn't want to seem like a creepy weirdo and bother her while she was shopping for groceries. I've never really been that into or impressed by celebrities, but I loved her so much in Napoleon Dynamite and It's Always Sunny! I also ran (literally)into Hulk Hogan in an elevator while visiting L.A. when I was 15. He is HUGE in person and I was definitely terrified, but I really wish I had taken a photo with him.

Favorite clothing store?

NL My friend Tuesday Bassen is currently opening her boutique in Chinatown called Friend Mart. It has clothing, accessories and other products all made by local artists. I also always really enjoy visiting Shareen's Vintage.

Favorite bar?

NL I'm probably the worst person to give advice on where to go out. I'm a horrible introvert, so I don't really go out. I much prefer having a few beers at home with my boyfriend and watching a movie.

What is your preferred mode of transportation?

NL Well, unfortunately I don't drive—I'm learning though!—so that only leaves me with public transportation or Uber. Public transportation proved to be too sketchy for my liking early on, but the train from L.A. to O.C. is super chill, so I usually just take the train and Uber.

What's your dream car?

NL A 1978 Monte Carlo in all white with cherry red faux snakeskin interior or a 1964.

How long have you lived in LA?

RH I am a Los Angeles native. I grew up in La Canada, which is near the Rose Bowl. I went to school in San Francisco and recently I have moved downtown.

What neighborhood do you live in?

RH I live just outside of downtown in the art district.

Which song best defines L.A. to you?

RH Well that's an impossible question. The best part of L.A. is that there are so many separate aspects of it. Each inner city feels entirely different and you can be by the beach one moment and concrete juggle the next. L.A. has aspects like the Wild West. It is what you make it and you run with that.

Name something you recently discovered about L.A.

RH They're opening up a Soho House downtown I guess, sounds interesting. I would potentially do that.

What was the last great meal you had in L.A.?

RH I use Postmates a lot, but I love hand roll bar and vegan bistro sage.

When were you most star struck?

RH When I saw Vincent Gallo. That same event I met Chris brown, Lana Del Ray, Kate Hudson, and Lenny Kravitz; but Vincent was absolutely the one that struck me. He told me I looked the way he wanted Christina to look for buffalo 66... I was like, okay, I can die now. It's funny because he's since become a bit of a mentor for me, the world's a wonderfully bizarre space.

Favorite clothing store?

RH I love vintage, so as far as stores go I gravitate toward fee markets. It's like treasure hunting.

Favorite bar?

RH Black Bar, I have a weakness for skateboarders

What is your preferred mode of transportation?

RH Uber, because I don’t have to drive or park. Motorcycles because they are such fun and you can avoid traffic and everything in between. We are kind of married to our personal transportation just based on geography.

What's your dream car?

RH I just test drove a 1962 Spider Fiat, it's pretty cute. I have a vintage bus I renovated. In general vintage vehicles are my dream cars.

How long have you lived in L.A.?

MK I've lived in L.A. for about three years.

What neighborhood do you live in?

MK I live in Pasadena.

Which song best defines L.A. to you?

MK "I'm in L.A. Bitch" by LMFAO.

Name something you recently discovered about LA

MK I just heard about Beverly Hot Springs, it's L.A.'s only 100% natural hot springs spa. The hot springs water was accidentally discovered around the turn of the century by drillers looking for oil, and it runs 2,000 feet deep. I love things like this, need to cruise ASAP. Also, apparently we have our own football team now, the L.A. Rams.

What was the last great meal you had in L.A.?

MK I started out with a salad olivieh (diced chicken, eggs, potato, pickles and pease mixed with olive oil and mayonnaise) and tadig (crispy rice). Main course was kabob barg (thin sliced filet mignon, skewered and charbroiled to perfection). Then I finished with some Persian ice cream. This all went down at Raffi's Place, my fave Persian restaurant.

Most underrated neighborhood?

MK Koreatown.

When were you most star struck?

MK I haven't been stars truck yet, but that'll happen the day I see or meet Larry King or Anderson Cooper. I love them so much. For my entire life, the news was always on in my house so I grew up seeing them every single day, also they were some of my first crushes when I was 5 or 6. I'll always be down for them TBH.

Favorite clothing store?

MK Goodwill.

Favorite bar?

MK Ask me again in a few years!

What is your preferred mode of transportation?

MK Uber! Some of the most turnt conversations and experiences of my life have gone down in a Ubers. Plus, everyone is safer when I'm not behind the wheel.

What's your dream car?

MK A black 1949 Ford Mercury or a white convertible 1970 Cadillac Deville.
