“It’s not an illusion. The rumors are true. This year the SUPER BOWL goes GAGA,” Lady Gaga announced on her Twitter late last night.

After performing the National Anthem at this year's Super Bowl L show, headlined by Beyoncé, Gaga will take the stage as the star of the 2017 spectacle, with special guests to be determined. We'll have to wait until February to see how Gaga makes the show her own—and we have no doubt she will—but luckily, with her fifth album, Joanne, due October 21, and her role on the new season of American Horror Story just kicking off, there's plenty of Gaga to go around in the meantime.

Super Bowl LI airs on February 5, 2017 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
