When Lana Del Rey tweeted out a string of specific dates, the word “midnight,” a brand new promo photo, and stated that all the ingredients could be found online last night, many fans went into freak-out mode and assumed that they should look out for new music in the coming months. Turns out, the only thing that she was promoting was witchcraft.

The sultry siren has hinted at her participation at a mass anti-Trump witchcraft ritual, where all witches are called to cast a spell simultaneously in an effort to get him out of office. The ritual will take place on the same dates and time that Lana tweeted, and the ingredients (a.k.a. detailed ritual instructions) she told you to look for can be found here.

Self-called “eclectic magician” Michael M. Hughes created the ritual in part to prove that witchcraft can be used for good and love, and partially for obvious reasons. “It is long past time to use magic to elevate the consciousnesses of Trump, Bannon, and Miller, as the new age, love-and-light witches keep suggesting as an alternative, “The damage this administration is doing daily is horrifying,” he said to Dazed. “It’s time to fight back, by every means at our disposal. And I believe it’s working already, just by the fact that so many people are doing it.”

The fact that Lana is likely practicing witchcraft to work against Trump is not only her most blatant political statement to date, but it also reveals yet another dimension to the ever-intriguing enigma that is Lana Del Rey, and we can’t get enough. Now let’s just hope that she doesn’t resort to sacrificing chickens.
