What was it like being tattooed for V?

So rad! Jenai [Chin] is so talented and it was amazing to see how she created them. They looked so real.

Do you have any real tattoos? If so, what are they, and if not, would you ever consider getting any?

I don't have any, but I am seriously considering getting a tattoo with my little sister—we shall see!

A few months ago, you walked your seventh Victoria’s Secret fashion show. How did that feel?

It is surreal to think I've done seven shows already! I used to watch the show when I was a teenager dreaming of being an Angel. I feel very blessed.

What were your highlights from the show?

The bond with the other girls in the show is my favorite part about the experience! All the behind-the-scenes fun we are having and trouble we are getting into. [Laughs] Just kidding, we are angels.

What is it like belonging to such a creative and fashion-inclined family?

My family is incredibly inspiring to me. My father [artist Alan Aldridge] raised me to be very creative and he is my idol.

How has the fashion industry changed since you started modeling?

Everything has changed! It used to be very separated, fashion and commercial models. Now it's very much blended, which is lovely because it's so much fun to do both.

In what ways do you think fashion can be used for good in today’s volatile political and cultural climate?

It's very inspiring to see the many models who have used their social media accounts to raise awareness for different causes! Two that I especially love to follow are Adwoa Aboah and Cameron Russell.

What causes are important to you?

Anything to do with children, sign me up! I work a lot with St. Jude's Children's Hospital, which is an incredible hospital in Memphis that treats children with cancer for no charge what so ever, including the families lodging and all of their bills. It really is a very special place. I also recently became an ambassador for World of Children, which raises funds for children's charities around the world. I went to their gala this fall and it was one of the most inspiring and moving nights of my life.

What projects are you currently working on outside of modeling?

I’m an ambassador for World of Children and St Jude's, it always been very important for me to use modeling as a platform to give back or raise awareness for causes that are important.

What are you doing when you’re not at work? Favorite hobbies?

Being a mom and making my daughters childhood fun and magical!

What is it like being married to a musician? [Aldridge is married to Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill.]

Sexy.

Aside from your cameos in Kings of Leon videos, you also appeared in Taylor Swift’s video for "Bad Blood." What was that experience like?

Honestly, it was my fantasy come true! We had so much fun and Taylor was so generous during the whole process. It was definitely a memory with my best friends that I'll never forget.

What are you hopeful about in 2017?

I'm hopeful for a world with more love, acceptance, and compassion for others.
