Chanel has announced a new fragrance, and named Lily-Rose Depp as the face of the forthcoming advertising campaign (images to come in the fall). The budding actress (flower pun intended) is also fronting the brand’s Pearl Eyewear campaign, launched in September of last year. Beyond ad campaigns, Depp’s 2016 will include the release of three films, Yoga Hosers, Planetarium with Natalie Portman, and The Dancer.

The new scent, L’Eau, is an off-shoot of Chanel’s iconic No.5, and was made by the brand’s in-house perfumer Olivier Polge. Keeping it all in the family, Polge joined the French fashion house in 2013, following the retirement of his father, who held the position before him. The junior's list of developments includes scents for Balenciaga, Burberry, Christian Dior, Jil Sander, Kenzo, and Valentino.
