The pop-rock band DNCE—fronted by former Disney star Joe Jonas—released their new single "Kissing Strangers," which features the always pleasurable and talented Nicki Minaj rapping a verse (her second Jonas Brother collaboration this year). DNCE had their breakthrough in 2016 with their self-titled debut album.

"Kissing Strangers" begins and the band's '70s funk inspiration is evident. The plucky bass line drops and Jonas fall into his groove with a series of stylized and dramatic vocal fall offs before hitting the chorus. "'Til I find someone I love/ Kissing strangers," Jonas delivers in his middle register. The front man is backed up with a series of catchy (and quickly tiring) "na, na, nahs."

Nicki enters with a playful, quick, and highly characterized verse that is almost reminiscent of her Pink Friday album—Roman, Nicki's alter-ego, may be resurfacing. "He got that bomb, I think Imma call him dynamite/ I gotta lotta sons, I can show you all the sonograms/ Me? I'm Jem, and these bitches is the holograms," Nicki cleverly raps.

And while this collaboration was enough to keep fans satisfied, for the time being, it unfortunately remains unclear whether this song is the first single in a second album for DNCE, or whether Nicki has something coming to follow up 2014's The Prinkpint.

For now, check out "Kissing Strangers" below. And based on DNCE's Instagram, we can expect an officail video soon.
