Louis Vuitton is joining the ranks of many who are embracing the surge of technologically-advanced fashion, with the announcement of a new smartwatch. The Tambour Horizon is a take on the company’s already popular Tambour watch, with an upgrade to Google’s Android Wear 2.0 feature.

Apple offered the first notable wearable technology release when the Apple Watch debuted on the cover of Vogue China in November 2014, worn by supermodel Liu Wen, but sales failed to meet projected expectations. But as more brands take on their own versions of the smartwatch, it's increased in popularity. As well as the classic Android Wear features, Vuitton's watch offers flight-tracking and city guides.

The release was announced with a film featuring some of the brand's usual faces, including Jennifer Connelly, Jaden Smith, and Miranda Kerr, as well as Catherine Deneuve and Adele Exarchopoulos among others.

Watch the film below and find the watches on Louis Vuitton's website accompanied by a series of additional short films.
