Pharrell Williams is making waves with his first-ever Louis Vuitton Men’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection. The menswear director and multi hyphenate creative is taking inspiration from classic Sailor attire with a collection filled to the brim with nautical references. Sailor-core is in full effect for menswear with many models donning the instantly recognizable sailor hat, sailor collars, and sailor striped suits. The workwear theme continues with a transition to fisherman inspired garments, utilizing netting and pearls to bring the nautical vision to life.

Surf culture also makes its way to this collection with looks that embody the iconic styles made for riding waves. The classic tropical florals are heavily utilized in embellishments and prints and a tribute to the tropical flower shirt makes its way to suits and button downs. The patterns in this collection expand beyond florals though as scenic depictions of waves and sunsets truly emphasize the beauty of the island. Other nods to surf culture are found in tops, jackets, and pants resembling a surf necessity, the wetsuit.

The theme is also ever present in the accessories as footwear gets the nautical treatment. Notably, the new LV COBRA shoe embodies innovation as the slip on utilizes innovative 3-D printing. Bags are made to match the garments with the same scenic designs carrying over for the perfect mix and match moment. Kitschy accessories like a ukulele pendant and animal keychains make for the perfect luxury souvenir from this exquisite trip to the Pacific.
