LVMH Announces the Launch of New E-Commerce Site

Fashion's most exclusive luxury brands will be more accessible than ever.

Fashion's most exclusive luxury brands will be more accessible than ever.

Luxury group LVMH has announced the launch of its first e-commerce site, 24 Sèvres, which will debut on June 6. The site, in partnership with Parisian department store Le Bon Marché, will feature more than 150 labels, including LVMH's primary fashion brands like Louis Vuitton and (the now fully acquired) Christian Dior.

24 Sèvres will serve as an international platform for the online luxury fashion shopping experience and will be available to clients beginning June 6 in over 70 countries. With fashion increasingly favoring the online market, brands and designers are, naturally, looking to expand their digital offerings. "The idea is to be attractive with unique products, not necessarily have a huge offering," says Apple Music's Ian Rogers, hired by LVMH in 2015 to aid in the group's expansion of the online luxury market. Additionally, Rogers notes that the site will provide "very Parisian choices" to online clients.

Given the relationship of the platform to the brands, shoppers can expect plenty of exclusive offerings and collaborations to make the launch all the sweeter. Best to bookmark the site now.
