Maggie Rogers—who we have written about extensively, and dubbed an artist to watch in 2017—has released the final video in a trilogy directed by Zia Anger. The single-shot film follows a similar cinematic vein as Rogers's first video for "Alaska," except the woods are replaced with a white seamless and the confetti cannons are exchanged for a massive parachute. The quirky backup dancing, fortunately, remains. The pressure of a single take doesn't stop the singer from an on-screen wardrobe change—from a yellow-fringed Elvis-like jumpsuit to a practical pair of jeans.

While it follows the aesthetic rules of the world she's created, the doesn't-take-itself-too-seriously music video stands in stark contrast to its formulaic contemporary counterparts. This should be expected—it's what made Rogers a viral star in the first place.

Maggie Rogers's debut EP, Now That the Light is Fading, is expected February 16, the day after she performs on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show.
