This past May, Chanel staged a historic show in Havana, Cuba to debut Karl Lagerfeld's Resort 2017 collection for a select audience of 700 guests (you may recall that actor and director Alex Pettyfer was one of said attendees, on assignment for V). It was the first luxury fashion show to be staged on the island.

With Chanel fedoras, cheeky tourist tees, and vibrant colors, the collection was a visual homage to Cuban culture (or at least, Lagerfeld's admittedly limited understanding of it). In keeping with the theme, Lagerfeld shot Chanel favorites Mica Arganaraz and Stella Tennant for the collection's campaign.
