Singer-songwriter and producer Oyinda first captured our attention with 2014’s Before the Fall EP—an enchanting debut that effortlessly showcased the singer’s bewitching vocals and wide range. Now, the London-raised artist returns with a haunting new video for her latest single, “Never Enough.”

Keeping in line with the aesthetic set up by the single’s previously released artwork that shows the singer clawing at her own masked visage, the video begins with Oyinda writhing in the center of a circle made up of snowed out television screens. Her possessed movements match the beat of the song perfectly, rising as the track builds momentum, with her sultry vocals set against shadows that seem to be under the siren’s control.

Perhaps the video’s most impressive feat, though, is the fact that it was entirely self-directed and self-styled. A consistent theme in the singer’s work, the end result is a direct reflection of her own independent vision. “I really wanted the video to embody the strength within femininity,” she says. “From the way I had the lens follow me to the way I styled myself, the tone had to be self-reliant.”

You can never get enough of a good thing is right. If you’re anything like us, you’ll watch the video (above) on repeat—and download the track on iTunes here.
