What was it like working with The Neon Demon girls: Elle, Bella, and Abbey?

Patti Wilson They were all so cool, professional and easy to work with. One of my smoothest fittings ever!

Were all of the ladies up for trying more daring pieces, especially the sheer ones?

PW Not even a whimper! They were all such pros and were really up for anything. Elle in particular surprised me the most. She really shone in front of the camera.

Elle seems to be turning into quite the fashion darling. Do you think she has muse potential?

PW Definitely, she’s fabulous!

You’ve worked with Abbey before as a model, but how was it working with her as an actress?

PW Absolutely no difference; she’s the same amazing girl. It’s hard not to be in awe of Abbey.

Do you approach styling actresses and musicians differently than models?

PW I wouldn’t say so. You dress the person, not the job.

What about a giant knife makes it the ultimate accessory?

PW Fashion is a killer…you have to protect yourself somehow.Fashion is a killer…you have to protect yourself somehow.

What is the perfect recipe for making bold fashion photographs?

PW Great clothes, great models, and a fucking great photographer like Steven Klein.

Jivomir Domoustchiev will likely be a new designer name to our readers. How did you come across his work?

PW We initially found him on his PR firm’s website and instantly fell in love with his work. I couldn’t wait to shoot his pieces and this was the first time I had the opportunity to do so. He made the look just for this shoot and I just love how beautiful the image turned out. I’ve even had the pleasure of working with him when he came to N.Y., and not only is he an amazing designer, but he’s a lovely person.

Any fun moments on set?

PW The shoot was a lot of fun, but also very challenging. We had a very limited time to get everything done and I couldn’t have made it happen without my amazing assistant, Taylor Kim.

Which look was your favorite?

PW I’m so in love with the entire story. I can’t play favorites….
