Former Roberto Cavalli creative director, Peter Dundas, has announced the launch of a solo line, following his departure from the Italian fashion house in October of last year. Dundas, who is no stranger to the fashion industry, also headed Emilio Pucci for six years prior to his time at Cavalli.

To kick off his new venture, the Norwegian designer turned to Beyonce, who wore custom looks for her show-stopping Grammy performance, this past Sunday. Can you think of a better endorsement?

The striking golden gown (below) was worn during the singer's performances of "Sandcastles" and "Love Drought." The look was followed by three others from Dundas's namesake throughout the night.

The designer took to Instagram to announce the launch, writing, "PETER DUNDAS X BEYONCE FIRST LOOK!! Proudly announcing the very first #peterdundas EPONYMOUS collection look specially made for our muse queen Bey." Though the songstresses Grammy pieces were just a first taste, fashion lovers everywhere can expect to see more daring pieces from Dundas's highly anticipated solo line.
