Three-time CFDA award-winning designer Reed Krakoff will join Tiffany & Co. as Chief Artistic Officer, a new position at the company. Store design and advertising, as well as Tiffany & Co. brand jewelry and accessories, will be under his supervision. Design Director Francesca Amfitheatrof, who joined the company in 2013, will be leaving the company.

Before Stuart Vevers joined Coach, Krakoff lead the company as Executive Creative Director for almost two decades. Krakoff is credited for turning the American brand into the global giant that it is today.

On the appointment, Tiffany and Co.’s Chief Executive Officer Frederic Cumenal says, “Reed’s extraordinary talent and deep understanding of iconic American design, and Tiffany’s defining role in its legacy, make him poised for great success in this new position. His expertise and creativity will continue to help build Tiffany as a global house of luxury.”
