All the way back in 2014, before Anti was entering late stages of anticipation, Rihanna posted a clip to Instagram of what sounded like a potential track, captioned with “phuckin roun in da studio.” The teaser, naturally, sent fans into overdrive. It sounded like the kind of badass track we’ve come to expect from the chart topper, similar to the duo’s previous collab “Pour It Up,” but ultimately it didn’t appear on her album.

Now, almost two years later, it has surfaced, as a lead single for Mike Will Made-It’s forthcoming album Ransom 2. In case you were wondering, yes, it’s every bit as good as you’d expect. It seems that summer ’16 will be the year of Rihanna killing it as a guest vocalist, following her recent team-ups with Calvin Harris and Drake.

While she might rap “ain’t none of this shit promised,” you can undoubtedly always expect an epic track from Rihanna.
